Events and walks around Pyramid Hill
Pyramid Hill are organising events at Paterson Station, Terrick
Terrick Station and Mt Hope Station, travelling by bus between Terrick

Mitiamo), Shire of Loddon. Visit the old homestead, morning tea etc
with speakers. School children to be bussed in.

Mt Hope Station, Shire of Loddon,
starting with a bus trip from
Terrick Terrick Station. Program for the day is as follows:
Leave
Pyramid Hill at 9:15am and depart Terrick Terrick at 10:00am on the
most suitable track according to the weather. Pass Timms Lake and on
to the bitumen. Arrive at the site for the unveiling of the camels and
horses, and unveiling of the plaque to say that Burke and Wills passed
this way 150 years ago.
Arrive at Mt Hope homestead. A short story before lunch and a look
around. Campfire lunch to be prepared by Pre-school and served by
Pyramid College and senior students of St Patrick's College.
After
lunch, a welcome by the Mayor or Councillor of Loddon Shire, followed
by:

Poem by Simon Willson

Speeches by the winners of Pyramid Lions Club Public Speaking,
3 Colleges will give their speeches

Songs by school children as per Ken Robertson songs

Music by Pyramid Hill College music group

Story by Julie Smith and Arthur Young
